The Cambridge Apex Fund, formerly known as the Relative Return Fund (RRF), is a GBP30,000 AUM student-run, long-only fund that invests in Macroeconomic, Value and Growth Strategies.
The Fund is an autonomous division of CUFIS that has traditionally operated as a non-profit educational platform for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students to develop a foundation in investing and participate in rigorous, bottom-up research. Membership is by application only, and past members have come from diverse backgrounds, hailing from Asia to the Americas, and ranging from former investment professionals to fresh high school graduates. Regardless of who you are, Apex prides itself on attracting the most motivated and passionate students with a penchant for creative thinking and strong finance and presentation skills.
Our management approach is based on a fundamental analysis of companies, backed by an intensive review of the economic and political environments in which those companies operate in.
Vacancies open in Michaelmas of each academic year. For Academic Year 2020-2021, application forms will be listed on the CUFIS facebook page and disseminated via the society's mailing list in mid-late October 2020.
