What is it like to work at the world's top investment banks? CUFIS will be hosting an exclusive, all-expenses paid trip to London to visit Goldman Sachs and another top investment bank (to be announced next week) on the 6th of November. The trip will provide you with an invaluable insight into the investment banking industry through tailored presentations and engagement sessions with employees, offering a uniquely personal experience. You will have opportunities to ask questions about the application process and will discover what it's really like to work at a top-tier investment bank in London. This opportunity is aimed at students graduating in 2021 (applying for Summer Internships) or 2022 (applying for Spring Weeks), who are interested in a career in Markets or Investment Banking. We strongly encourage all students to apply, regardless of background or experience. We have reserved places for students coming from non-Economics backgrounds and/or graduating in 2022. • If selected, you would be invited to an investment training session at our central London office to learn how we analyse companies, directly from our experienced analysts.
• After the training session, you will write a report on a company of your choice.
• Based on your write up on the company, you may be invited back to present your idea to Orbis analysts, who will award the winner with a first prize of £2,500. This is a 10-week London-based Summer Analyst programme beginning in July 2020 with one week of boot camp on investing principles run by senior investment professionals. The Relative Return Fund (RRF) is a student-run c.£30k investment fund that all students have a chance to be a part of! There are SECTOR HEAD and ANALYST positions available across 8 sectors. The RRF is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills in equity research, valuation and financial modelling whilst gaining first hand investment experience.
